Lalejin, a city in Iran, is a global hub for pottery, serving as a prime example. However, studies indicate that potters in this city experience a very high rate of musculoskeletal disorders, mainly due to a lack of ergonomic knowledge, insufficient oversight, and economic challenges. This issue threatens not only the health of the workforce but also the continuation of this valuable cultural heritage. This policy brief offers solutions to safeguard potters&#39; health by recommending collaboration among institutions, including the state broadcasting organization, the University of Medical Sciences, the Cultural Heritage Department, the Education Department, and the Ministry of Science.
